She may look sweet, but behind that innocent smile lurks a sass bomb just waiting to explode. We had some people over for dinner the other night and Sara's diaper was dirty. I went to get the diapers and wipes and called her over to me. She came halfway from where she was, spun on her heel and ran away. The rest of the conversation went like this:

Sassed by a 1 year old
Congrats
Here's a shout-out (even though I dislike that term. It's too trendy) to Nick and his new job! Way to go Nick!

Mercurial Mood Girl
Two Days Early
Dear Holly and Samuel and Nora and Sara,
Thank you for the beautiful and tasty Mother's Day gift! Nothing like flowers AND cookies wrapped into one gift! I was surprised to hear my doorbell ring yesterday. I peeked out the window to see the "brown" truck at my house. UPS left a box on my doorstep. This is what was inside!
When I get done eating (and I've already eaten 3!) this layer, there's another layer just like it underneath.
These will not go moldy. Thanks so much for thinking of me! I love you all!

Help?
I know that last time I had friends over I asked you guys for help on what I should serve. Some suggestions were used, others weren't. Sorry. But, here we go again! Friday night I need to make dinner for Bud's daughter and 2 grandkids (they're older grandkids...19 &21?), and on Sunday I'm having G'ma and Walt, Cheryl and Kim, and Amy over.
Will you consider helping me again? Even if I didn't use your idea last time? Please? Even if you don't know the people coming over?
Does that sound pathetic enough that you will give me more ideas? I thank you in advance.
